Hi, my name is Kate. I’m the one behind the bench here at Blue Cado Jewelry!

Having always been a crafty kid, you would think silversmithing came naturally to me, right? Heck no! It was hard, and took a lot of practice, learning from different teachers along the way, and plenty of trial and error to get to where I am today. I’m still learning all the time, but I’ve come to love the process (some steps more than others!) just as much as the finished piece.

Every piece is made with care, with the hope that it feels just as special to wear as it was to create.
